School Emails

*All STUDENTS ---- YOU need to be checking your school emails every day. Staff and teachers are sending reminders and information to you.


Student Parking Permit

*Students who are DRIVING to school at this time ---- You NEED to have a CHS student parking permit DISPLAYED on the front windshield of your vehicle to park in the student lot. To purchase a permit – bring your Driver’s License, Your Car Registration and $20.00 (cash or check) – to Student Services before or after school. Officers are now looking at vehicles in the parking lot to verify permits.


Food Deliveries/Closed Lunch

*CHS policy is NO restaurant or fast food can be ordered and/or delivered to students via food delivery services during school hours. NO restaurant or fast food is to be brought into the cafeteria during lunch. If you are coming to school from Internship/Doctors Appointment/Running Late and have purchased food from a restaurant on your way here – you MUST finish eating it in your car.


Electronic Devices

*Your phone --- is not to be OUT or USED – during school hours which is between 8:35 to 3:30. Even if you sign out for an appointment/internship/Anthis etc. ---- electronic devices ---- are not to be OUT until you are outside the school building. Again - NO phones should be OUT or USED until after 3:30

*Earbuds are NOT to be worn in the hallways and/or lunchroom. Earbuds can only be worn in class with Teacher permission.



*You are allowed to carry 1 backpack from class to class. Everyone has been assigned a locker or there are day lockers you can use by the weight room if you need a place to keep a backpack.

NO backpacks are permitted in the Food Lines during breakfast or lunch







*Attention students who are 16 and older – There are many summer job opportunities with the Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department.  Pick up a flyer in the guidance office to find out how to apply!


*Students taking a PFW dual credit course next school year need to turn in the Parent/Guardian Permission Form to guidance by the end of the day Monday.  You will be receiving your pass on Monday to report to the MPR on Tuesday to get registered for your class.




*NACS Natatorium is offering a Lifeguard class April 14-29th. Call Heather Kresl at 637-0340 or stop by the natatorium for more information. The natatorium is still hiring swim instructors and lifeguards.



The 2023 Jr./Sr. Prom will be held on April 15th @ the Kruse Plaza in Auburn from 8pm-11pm.

The event is for CHS Junior and Senior Students and their guests. ONLY CHS Juniors and Seniors may purchase tickets.

Guests must be a Sophomore in High School or older. But they can NOT be 21 years old.

IF you are bringing a NON-CHS guest --- you will need a Yellow Guest Form from Student Services.

IF you are bringing a CHS Sophomore ---- you will need a Blue Guest Form from Student Services.  Forms MUST be filled out – completely with ALL required signatures and returned by TUESDAY, April 11th.

Tickets for the Prom will be on sale both before and after school in the cafeteria.  Tickets will be sold starting Monday, March 27th through Thursday, March 30th. Each ticket is $30. You can pay by cash or check.  Please make checks out to "CHS"


After Prom

After Prom Event at Crazy Pinz --- From midnight until 3am.

CHS will have exclusive access to the entire facility --- bowling, new mini golf course, go-carts, ropes course and laser tag. Arcade is cash only --- you need to bring your own if you want to do the Arcade games.

After Prom event ---- is FREE with purchase a prom ticket. Yes --- it is FREE to attend the After Prom Event at Crazy Pins if you purchase a Prom Ticket.

So, once you are done boogie-woogying at Prom, throw your jeans on and join us at Crazy Pinz for a night of fun!

If you are NOT going to Prom and you are a Carroll Junior or Senior and want to go to the After Prom, you can purchase a ticket for $10.  These tickets can be purchased March 27th thru March 30th, during Prom ticket sales.




*Senior Gift Committee:

TODAY --- ONLY DAY LEFT ---- the senior gift committee will be collecting donations at LUNCH for the spicy wing challenge. All donations will go to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The more you donate, the spicier the wings that Mr. Stoffel, Mrs. Kuhn, Mr. Booker, Mr. Flutze, and Mr. Knorr must eat! Let’s get to that maximum spice level Chargers!


*The Show Choirs will be hosting a call-out meeting for anyone interested in auditioning for next year's group - during Activity Period on March 22nd (next Wednesday) in room 314. We will discuss what show choir is, how to sign up/audition, and watch some of the show choir shows from this year!


*The Show Choirs open auditions for the 2023-2024 school year will be April 29th. Prepare a minute to a minute and a half of a Broadway/Disney style song. All students are encouraged to audition for this award-winning, nationally recognized, varsity group! To sign up, visit or scan the QR codes you see around the school!
