*Anyone student who are 16 or 17 years old, have at least a 3.0 GPA, and are interested in helping at the election polls on May 5th, should go to guidance to pick up the information and application. Deadline to turn in the application is TODAY March 9th

*Attention all students.  Carroll High School is hosting our Annual College and Career Fair on Tuesday, March 10th from 6-7:30PM.  Representatives from 2 year, 4 year, and vocational schools as well as various branches of the military will be in attendance.  Additionally, representatives from various internship sites will be in attendance to help students enrolled in senior internship classes next school year select a site.  If you have any questions, please see your Guidance Counselor or Mrs. Pickett in Student Services.  We look forward to seeing you there!

*Ready for fun and excitement?  Join the Indiana Army National Guard from 6-8 p.m. on March 12th, as they celebrate freedom at Combat Ops Entertainment located on Ley Road in Fort Wayne.  Juniors and seniors are welcome with guardian approval.  Join the National Guard for an evening of Axe Throwing, Lazer Tag, Unlimited Arcade Games, and Pizza.  Sign up is outside of guidance and you must sign up by the end of the school day on Tuesday, March 10th.  A total of 16 junior and senior students can attend.

*Work Permits – you MUST bring in your birth certificate and a completed intent to employ form to guidance in order to get a work permit.






*Spikeball club – 10-12 students only – In order to attend the rest of the meetings this year….. You must sign-up in Kelty’s room – 155. First come first served until it is full.

*It's that time of year! RAKtivists are preparing for their 6th annual EGG HUNT! Please bring in candy and eggs to donate and drop them off at the office or in Mrs. Wisehart's room, 250!


*If you are interested in trying out for Carroll softball team, tryouts are TODAY, TOMORROW, and WEDNESDAY. Meet in the commons area at 4:00.


*The gymnastics team took 3rd place at the Huntington North Regional on Saturday. Placing for Carroll was Mckinley Carroll receiving 6th place in vault, 3rd place on beam, 3rd place on floor and 5th place in all around. Julia Goodine placed 3rd on bars and 3rd in all around and Bella Hoogland placed 5th on beam. They will be competing at the State finals at Ball State University on Saturday. Congratulations ladies and good luck at State.

*The CHS Speech Team competed at the Northeast Indiana District Tournament. The top 2 placements for each event travel to the National Tournament in Albuquerque, NM in early June.

*A huge congrats to the Carroll High School Winter Guards on their accomplishments this past weekend! The A Class Color Guard finished their season with their best performance and gaining six and a half points from last weekend! That’s over 16 points for the entire season! Job well done!

The Open Class color guard scored well enough to advance to State Finals on the 21st of March! This is the first time in Carroll High School’s history to have a color guard in Open Class State Finals! How incredible! Wish them luck at State Finals!

*Indoor percussion traveled to Plainfield High School for a one day competition. The group had another great performance, jumping their score nearly 7 points from last weekend and placing 2nd in their class.

*Congratulations to our Jazz Ensembles!  ALL FIVE received Gold Division Ratings at the ISSMA Jazz event held at Carroll this weekend, with Jazz 1 and Combo 1 receiving the additional "With Distinction" rating. 
Takoda Collins, Henry Wellman, JP Susantio, Sam Parnin,  Tristan Sorg, Sean Huynh, Luke Stockel, Maiah Deogracias,  Zach Kern, ZZ Kokonaing, Lexie Novell, Spencer Brennan, Allison Bell, Bayan Yunis, Gabby Cochran, and Allison Bell were ALL recognized as outstanding soloists! Congratulations!
