Summer InformationWe will have open soccer 2 nights a week this summer. We will start open soccer the week of June 8th. The exact days and times are TBD based on the availability of the turf field. Those times will be determined and uploaded to the parensquare calendar. Regular attendance is recommended. The expecation is players should be in attendance when possible. To participate in any summer related activities at CHS the players have to upload a physical onto final forms and complete the required paperwork. Failure to have the proper paperwork completed and approved will result in the player not practicing. The link gives directions on how to create an account. FINAL FORM REGISTRATION INFO.

Summer Strength and Conditioning:

Summer strength and conditioning is for all athletes grades 9-12.  The program is designed for injury rate reduction, functional mobility, and development of speed, strength and power.  All of these concepts are valuable and necessary to be competitive in all sports.

All athletes must wear Carroll apparel during workouts.  This includes elementary and junior high affiliated Carroll schools.

Conditioning will never be canceled due to bad weather.

Before attending summer conditioning, athletes need to have an updated and completed 2026-2027 IHSAA physical prior to the first day.  The physical must be after April 1st, 2026.  All physical files and IHSAA files need to be completed on Final Forms by the first day of conditioning.  Athletes will not be allowed to participate until all forms are turned in.

If you plan on trying out for a CHS Athletic program, make sure to discuss Charger Summer Strength and Conditioning with the head coach of that sport.

The players will run the beep test the first session of tryouts. The beep test is a running trial that gets increasiningly faster. The cones are placed 20 meters apart. Players must be at the cone when the they hear the beep, the goal is to time the runs to hit the line at the same time as the beep and turn to run the other direction. Every 8-12 runs the speed will increase.
