Membership is open to those students who meet the required standards in four areas of evaluation: scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Students who have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher at the end of their sophomore or junior year will receive a mailed invitation in June. Beginning with the class of 2028, students who have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.67 or higher at the end of their sophomore or junior year will receive a mailed invitation in June. The National Honor Society Induction Ceremony will take place on the second Wednesday in March.
To maintain eligibility for the National Honor Society, a student must meet the following requirements:
1. Maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Beginning with the class of 2028, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.67 or higher
2. Have less than two negative reports in feedback from teachers and administrators regarding character and leadership
3. Participate in NHS meetings, inductions, and fundraisers
